They can be set up for grass collection, using the generously sized grass catcher, for rear-discharge onto the ground, or to chop the clippings into fine particles and return them to the lawn as a nutrient (mulching function, available by inserting the mulching plug supplied as standard). The new deck is extremely stable and rigid to ensure maximum grip and driving comfort, even over rough ground.
